A absolutely stunning Depression Glass Oyster and Pearl Sandwich Plate dating back from the 1930 -1940 time period. This timeless piece of pink depression glass was manufactured by The Anchor Hocking Glass Company from 1938 to 1940. This pattern sold extremely well and has a history of being gifted to newly wedded couples with a note accompanied with it giving a brief history of its pattern and depression glass history. It is of sturdy glass making it useful enough for everyday using , but has a lovely , delicate pattern. This platter or tray is in pristine used vintage condition. There are no chips , breaks , scratches or wear marks. The edges are deeply scalloped while the center of the platter is recessed so it can hold a bowl snuggly in place. It is in perfect gifting condition with no worries of doubles turning up. A true original piece of original depression glass made right here in the U.S.A. This Platter measures 13.5" across.
