Model 171 general purpose 60-minute timer has a 6 inch face (diameter), two numbered rings one for tracking elapsed time, one for stop watch use two hands for setting minutes seconds, two outlets for automatic switching between external devices. The electric motor provides + or - .015% accuracy. The timer has a nonconductive plastic case rubber base pads to help protect against impact, chemicals, moisture, electrical shock, a recessed handle for easy gripping, keyholes for wall mounting. The timer has an automatic alarm adjustable volume. Electromechanical timers are monly used in laboratory, darkroom, restaurant, manufacturing, sporting event settings.
