Description

I recently bought a bunch of Jaguar XKE parts that were found in a storage locker that was auctioned off due to back rent. The parts appear to have been in storage for a long time and are all quite nice for their age. There are larger parts like doors, seats, etc and smaller parts like gauges, interior parts, and some underhood pieces.  I plan to post the larger items here in my Ebay store and will put the smaller items up for no reserve auctions. This is a vintage Jaguar XK-E rear hatch assembly. Based on some of the other parts found with this hatch, I believe it to originally be from a Series II 2+2 model. I imagine it interchanges to other models as well. Please confirm your specific application.
This rear hatch is in good original condition as shown. I do not see any dents, body work, or rust through areas. The glass is intact and looks good with some light scratches. The inside of the hatch is also very clean as shown. The interior trim panel is torn up and should be replaced. The pinch seam is in good condition with some surface corrosion and no pregnant/swelled seam rust issues, etc. This is a very nice original decklid.
