Drive Motor - OEM replacement for Berg Motion Case Model-A - Berg showcase 1961+

Description

This motor replaces all reversing capacitor type motors for the Berg showcase Model-A and later Model-B cases. Please note the drive shaft is a 3/8" diameter ground to half flat. Early 1960's models +/- 1961 to 1964 used a 3/8" shaft with a smaller flat. If your case has the motor with the smaller flat you will need to purchase a new drive gear - Spin Display part number 3062. Motor is complete with new capacitor and push on terminals for easy installation.
Some early 1960 to 1961 models had a double wound reversing motor that did not require a capacitor.
This motor is not a direct replacement for the double wound motor. It will work but the mounting end plate will need to be modified or replaced to match the bolt pattern of the new motor.
Similarly, the early Berg Selector and B-Model Selector cases had a double wound Merkel-Korpf motor. Again, this motor can be made to work by modifying the mounting plate and motor box.
