This is the HS version with the skip slit.
Super easy to peel back and apply.  The backing of this tape is slit down the middle for ease of application.  Tape is clear and glossy.  I find this the easiest of all the Helicopter tapes to install.  Awesome protection for anything that might get nicked or chipped.  I use this to protect my carbon bike from rock chips.  This is serious stuff!. 2 inches wide.

18 mil, leading edge erosion protection tape comprised of a tough polyurethane backing and a high shear acrylic adhesive. It resists punctures, tearing and abrasion. This tape is qualified to meet aerospace specifications.

3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tape 8663HS is a transparent or transparent thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer tape designed to provide premium leading edge erosion protection. With scratch, tear, erosion and puncture resistance that comes from the polyurethane backing, this tape also includes a high shear strength acrylic adhesive. It can withstand a wide variety of difficult conditions, including rain and sand erosion. The tape can be applied efficiently in aircraft and rotorcraft production and maintenance.
This tape is available in two liner configurations: single poly liner on the adhesive side; or single skip slit poly liner on the adhesive side. The skip slit liner is cut into narrow pieces to enable easy installation of tape.
