    This is sterling silver. I call it a crown setting because it kinda looks like that. Open Back design. The great thing about this setting is all you have to do is put a flat back stone or cameo in and then carefully go around and slowly bend the top of the crown against your stone. That will secure it. There really is no need for glue. You can add a little if you think it is necessary.  Holds one 25 x 18mm oval cabochon or other flat-back stone. Use to make as an earring drops, or a pendant.  The setting is antiqued to highlight the details.
