1938 STUDEBAKER TRUNK LID 2 & 4 DOOR SEDAN MODELS. 38 VG
IM GOING OFF OF THE HINGE NUMBER FOR IDENTIFICATION. I do not know the model it is for. I need you to CONFIRM YOUR APPLICATION!
Trunk is from the middle across 37 5/8 wide by 36 1/2 high from the middle.
I believe trunk handle helps identify the model with STUDEBAKER
This one is solid! Has all the trunk handle and latch with it. Chrome looks good! Does have some pitting. Handle needs rechrome. Handle moves the latch as it should. Hinges have ......Good mounting holes. Also hinges are both broken one was bolted on! Basicly this trunk holds its original shape! There is a very light dentting above the lower lip but it’s showing in the pictures. Trunk has had several coats of paint over its life! In the last picture you will se there’s not a lot of surface rust. .
This is a good one to restore!
In order to ship with USPS I need to remove the broken hinges. Otherwise it exceeds there size limits!
